Graduates of  "University of Life" formerly known as "School Without Walls" in collaboration with Vigyan Ashram initiated Village Polytechnic project in Eight schools of Konkan region (Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg). This program is offered to the students of 8th , 9th and 10th std along with other subjects. It is recognized as Introduction to Basic Technology, a pre-vocational subject by Maharashtra education board & student can take this as subject for 10th Std. board examination.
